A handmade retro style blue and white tea cup referencing one of the Taipei Museum collections from Ming Dynasty. The sizes are stay true to the original design. The pattern was reinterpreted in a causal way vs the original pattern was more restrict.
The pattern was depicting a scene that plum blossom, bamboo, pine tree were growing strong in the winter as a metaphor that the real junzi (Confucius's ideal person) will never be afraid of any difficulty in his life.
This cup has a thin body, was made by traditional method (i.e. fired by pine wood).
The tea cup goes really well with green tea (I.e. Bi Luo Chun) and young white tea.
